In the mid 1950's I moved to Canada from England. Since that time I have lived in Ontario and traveled across Canada extensively, enjoying all of the provinces and much of what they offer.
I attended the Ontario College of Art in Toronto in the late sixties.
After a career in the photo industry which suffered with the advent of the digital camera, I decided to pursue painting as a full time occupation. In 2007 I chose to move north of Lake Superior in order to be in the environment that I love to paint. So middle age has brought a shift in my lifestyle as I try to re-establish myself, this time as an artist in the thriving art community north of Lake Superior.
Although I never really stopped painting throughout my life, it feels good to finally change its profile from a 'back seat' activity to the main focus of my day.
